I am visiting some solar PV businesses in Mwanza thia week. A lot of development has happened in terms of increased supply of equipment. But there are also concerns on the quality of some products. I went to villages to see business application of the PV technology. Already there are some entrepreneurs running phone charging services and barber shops and earn good money. They need however considerable amoujt of support in sourcing the right equipment, building customer base and manage technical issues if they happens once they have bought the systems.
Hi Sanga,
That’s great and quite insightful. it is an experience that you may find welcome to share when you are back so that we can pick it up and see necessary interventions especially on the standards area. gather the much information you can as possible then we go through it together for desired interventions.
