The breeze from the Indian Ocean keeps this wind turbine whizzing generating some power for the Tatedo’s center for sustainable energy in Dar es Salaam. More effort is needed to develop pilot and demonstration projects like this to a scale where they can significantly contribute to energy supply and security in a country.
